Massage Therapy
Massage Therapy relaxes the body; easing and soothing all
the aches and pains of the muscles. Massage relieves most stress and pressure
that may take form after the worries and frustrations of daily life. Massage is
not only therapeutic but emotionally and physically healing.
Amanda Abbott L.M.T. has been our massage therapist for a few months now and we've heard great things from her clients. She graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy in Dec. 2008 and offers her clients 5 different types of massage:
- Swedish: Very gentle and relaxing, using firm but light pressure to encourage relaxation. If this is your first massage or you're just looking for a relaxing time then this is the massage for you.
- Deep Tissue: This massage is one step up from Swedish. The pressure is more firm to target muscle knots. Deep tissue releases more toxins from you muscles, so water is a must.
- Injury: This massage focuses on injury points; whether it's back, neck, legs, or arms.
- Sport: Pre and post competition
- Couples: Great idea for any romantic occasion.
